That’s right—every month you’ll receive a new edition of the Super Readers Club in your in-box with seasonal picture book favs, event news, comics and mini kidlit interviews. March, June, September and December will still be extra-special quarterly issues featuring the free, seasonal activity kits you’ve come to expect. Yay!

Book News
This fall I’m a busy bee finishing the final artwork for a new picture book coming in 2024 titled, Teddy’s Bear Take a Tumble! Come the new year, I’ll be sharing more, but for now, would you like a little sneak peek? Here’s a color character piece of Teddy and his dad + a progress pic of the line work for the interior artwork, which is drawn from the sketches, then scanned and later layered with digital color.
Fall Favorites
Chloe Zoe loves celebrating Thanksgiving with her grandparents, family and friends, especially when she gets to help make everyone’s favorite part of the feast: the pumpkin pie! But when Chloe Zoe has a mix-up with the spices and the pie is a flop, will her loved ones be able to help her see that there’s more to the holiday than pie?

Q: What was your favorite book as a kiddo?
KAYLA: I loved fairy tales, folk tales, and nursery rhymes! The one that stands out the most in my mind is the Three Billy Goats Gruff! I LOVED IT! Still do!
Q: What are you currently reading/watching/listening to?
KAYLA: This book is not for kids, but I just read Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros and enjoyed it! And I'm watching the new season of The Great British Baking Show, and rewatching the newer DuckTales series.
Q: Describe your fav snack! Yum!
KAYLA: I'm not a big snacker, so this might be a disappointing answer—haha! But I have been loving the rolled corn tortilla chili and lime chips from Trader Joe's. I never let those stocks deplete.
